| Chadwick lied on his job application, claiming ability as a scout. When this was discovered, he was thrown out of the car on the outskirts of Gateway with bandit trucks on the way. Chadwick took a gatling gun burst to the chest and we all congratulated ourselves on our cruelty. When he showed up at Gateway the next morning, having staggered all the way there with two broken collarbones and a bullet-dented hubcap under his shirt, we realized he belonged with us, after all.
