JD_Basher (Owner) / Marc5iver (Manager) An un-named (as yet) camp has declared WAR on the owners and membership of the camp Rogues Road. Let it be known to all who dare to attack Rogues Road that we will follow an honorable code at the outset of hostilities... On the FIRST attack on our camp, I and any active members with me in the defense squad, will accept and honor any kind of `uncle` declared by ANY attacking vehicles... This means we will not kill any occupants of demoralized vehicles, nor will we chase down any escaping vehicles. We will allow you to escape the walking wounded and walk back to Gateway without any further injuries to your gangers from our defending squad. This `uncle` caviat will only be active as long as ALL demo`d cars and peds remain non-combative... If ANY of them resume fire, all bets are off and The Rogues Road Defenders will go for ANY kills of opportunity... This includes ALL occupants in Demo`d vehicles and any peds on foot attempting to escape as well as operational cars attempting escape. IF a second attack is made upon us, the gloves are coming off and we fight for the kill.... We do not need vehicular loot. We will no longer accept demo`d cars or their occupants as non-combatants. ANY vehicle trying to escape will be chased and hunted..... ANY peds on foot in the event will be ran down or shot..... Too bad you picked Rogues Road to pick on...

Unfortunately...new rules do not promote keeping camps open... at least not the smaller camps. /me points to the opening post (But I can see your point)

Joel Autobaun Posted Nov 25, 2009, 2:44 am	OOC: I wrote a post and then deleted (cause I was pissing and moaning a bit) about how this camp MR bonus nerf +new pvp rules would probably close up PVP more than open it. I deleted it because I feel like I am beating a dead horse and simply bitchin. Which I was. Bottom line - currently PVP is still not worth it and as a camp owner regarding camp wars/attacks. You can REALLY lose more than gain from it.

I now have given up spying on gangs, PVP is as broke as ever it was I found a bug that was accidently added when I was reverting the pvp system, sorry. It was stopping all non-camp-attack pvp. D'oh.

I have now gone out 4 times after people... the first time FF used the exploit loophole of watching my squad and immediately recalling his when he saw me leave... (I say exploit because if his squad was already out... then recalling it when i set off should have bumped into me at the Firelight gates. But instead he is able to leapfrog past me because the server has not processed an encounter) the other three times i have gone out.. wandered around a bit and then watched as the target gets a pirate encounter. Given all the time it takes to set up a PVP attack, the time you spend waiting for a target squad to set out, and the general hassle of the whole thing a hit rate of less than 1 in 4 is hardly worth bothering with when i read this post... please  can i have an hour of free subscription Sam
