how much powerful is a 4L compared to a 3.2L?

because I'd like to have more space in my muscle

Significantly. Still, a 3.2 is often fine in combat - you'll still be faster than any of the SUVs, and most of the sedans. I wouldn't recommend putting it in a travel car though. Your best solution would be a 3.2v8 of course, but those cost serious money in SS.

ok - what if I'm using A armor? on a phoenix it's 500 less in weight, a 12% decrease in weight; if the 3.2L is within that range of performance of the 4L, the car should perform more or less the same... or not?

Well in that regard I would suggest you consider that apart from its initial install and ongoing repair costs (which are significant in SS), if you drop your weight too much (especially on a muscle car) you are going to start suffering from weapon recoil and impact recoil more.

Which is ok if you can keep at speed, but start slowing down and you may well find the front tyres of your pride and joy lifting off the ground - your ability to turn will become restricted, your ability to accelerate will also be affected.

But if you feel you really want to do it, then use at least one lower recoil weapon (e.g. CR) or use your weapons fire sparingly.

thanks for the insight. didn't think about the recoil effect...

As an example, I have a couple fully armored bullets I use as training vehicles. They are armed with front mounted light weapons... one has two GGs the other has a GG and MG. If I fire while stopped or slow they will not be able to move. Period. The twin GGs seems to be a little worse than the GG + MG. That's with full B armor.
I use them to pin one enemy while they continue making driving slashing attacks. Once they stop they're pretty screwed.
