3 vehicle scout in GW. Only one vehicle has room for a dropper. Best option and why? Up to 60 bulk. No reloads.

voted heavy flaming oil jet, on the assumption you mean 1 weapon only and no reloads...
If you have 2 weapon slots, probably spike dropper + FOJ |

I picked FOJ and SD because that gives you two weapons, since reloads aren't an option.

I picked the FOJ + SD. FOJ is nice set up to the spikes (spinning and hit the spikes). Also, spikes last longer than most dropped weapons.
I close second would be SD + MD. Although easier to miss again they last far longer if the baddies decide to slow up. Another advantage of the SD + MD is you can drop much farther away and avoid needless damage from the baddies. |

I tend to put a single spike dropper on the back of my scout car. Current design is a moray with front CR, rear SD, but I've used flashes too.
This has three purposes: to boost the effect of the scout (small car bonus), to slow down and disrupt the enemy while we run to a good fighting point, and to snipe the occupants of breached cars/reduce the accuracy of cars I can't spare main guns for right now. You don't actually need to do a lot of damage with the dropped weapons when you use them like this - they're just there to make the AI swerve and slow down, buying you time. A lot of the time the AI never hit a spike, but they're still valuable. |

indead, you are never going to demo a car whith drops but the tacktical edge thay give is priseless.
thay alow you to guide the AI , cover a retreat, buy you time and once the tires start to melt it cripels thare abilaty to clime. am wondering, dose flaming oil also efect enamy moral the same way other flame whepons do? |

spike dropper and mine dropper are the only ones that actually make the enemy stop... half the time when they hit oil they skid and come out going at almost the same speed in the same direction.
mines are my favorite (because they go bang) but spikes work better. |

Agree exactly. Mines are more fun, Spikes more effective. |

Gotta be the HOJ and HFOJ for me - the rest is just too easy for the AI to avoid

Yep same as johnnynever foj/hfoj every time for me
*goat starer* Posted Sep 8, 2010, 6:04 pm |
if the enemy is avoiding them you are dropping them wrong ![]() |

johnny go Posted Sep 8, 2010, 6:16 pm |
i find the only option with dropped weapons is the ground

*goat starer* Posted Sep 8, 2010, 7:24 pm |
gro tends to be falling off cliffs most of the the time so he is probably dropping them in the air.

You can certainly demo a car with a HFOJ. Just ask Metro. |
