Darkwind
What's the difference?

I can launch the game three different ways.

darkwindClient.exe <--- streight into the lobby
darkwindLobby.exe <--- has you enter password/name and checks for updates before launching the client
darkwindLobby.jar <--- the Java client. checks for updates before launching lobby

Sometimes my horn works in one but not the other. It used to work in the .jar, now it works in the darkwindClient.exe.

Are there any other differences between launching that I should be aware of? Is there a recommended method? Does it matter?

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my understanding:

darkwindLobby.exe - This basically fires off darkwindLobby.jar, it's just a wrapper for folks who don't have their java associations set up properly (and the proper associations didn't used to be the default)
darkwindLobby.jar - Patcher
darkwindClient.exe - Actual client

I always just run darkwindClient.exe directly.
You only need to run the patcher when there's patching to do..
