*sam* Posted Nov 10, 2010, 9:14 am	Is the message 'cannot parse file' displayed by Windows itself, or by the DW patcher? -- if the latter, perhaps you're running the game from a place where you don't have write access, and/or not running 'as administrator' The virtual memory error may relate to graphics card issues.. can you check the console.log file from inside the darkwind folder and see if there's anything there related to a graphics card or driver issue?
*Rev. V* Posted Nov 10, 2010, 4:13 pm	Sam, dunno if this helps you any- I was in the lobby and saw him log in a bunch of times yesterday, but then log right back out... So he's partially getting through, as his attempts show up in the lobby.

d0dger Posted Nov 11, 2010, 7:36 pm	I had a similar problem when I was testing out my backup machine in DW (in Windows XP). The microsoft WDM drivers had crap perfromance, but as soon I downloaded direct from nvidia things were all good. This was just using motherboard integrated graphics.
Mad Mike Posted Dec 18, 2010, 6:10 am	Microsoft is trying to snuff out OpenGL by not supporting in their drivers. Have to use manufacturer drivers to get OpenGL support.
