*Bastille* Posted Nov 27, 2010, 12:46 pm	I just won my last round in SCL div V, and lost 1 point fame and 1% production bonus for camp, my opponent gained 2 fame and 4% production bonus for his camp. this does not make sense to me?

JS Posted Dec 4, 2010, 2:15 pm	This is really frustrating. I had a PvP with Bast today, killed a guy (sorry Bast!), lots of blue. No Demo's on my sdie, and what did I get? 18 Fame, that's it. And oh by the way, my camp was below to the 720 (we have a sponsorship) max from the reset. I then scouted around camp, and guess what? The 18 fame isn't even ever the 720 number. So I win a PvP match, kill a guy, lots of blue, and I essentially get zero fame boost, zero mech boost and zero prod boost. Is this simply because the camp is not open for PvP, or because we have a sponsorship shich gives us 720 fame, or some of both? I know the numbers are hidden, but people have got more bonus from losing to me than I have got for winning. It's not exactly enticeing me to do more PvP.

Joined straight after message, load up paused at the end of objects and I cancelled the loadup, reloaded into the event with a pink ring around my cars but could not reposition them, JS could see me but not me him. Like I missed the whole positioning phase. That kinda sucked a bit. Still a fun fight. Next time I'll shoot you down in the dirt you profiteering warmonger (not serious of course JS EDIT: Oh wait, you're a renegade, not a merchant... um.. .. well then.. guess Im a dumbass ) I lost some bonuses for the vault, so that side is balanced this time.
*Dark Tempest* Posted Dec 4, 2010, 4:25 pm	If your not open for PvP you can't get bonus's from doing it JS. If you want PvP bonus's, you have to risk your camp being open. If the risks are too high, you can't hide behind the flag and still expect to get the bonus.

That's good to know.  And something I've asked several times, but no one has told me I cannot get the bonus unless open for PvP.  Makes sense now.

If you woulda just done that one scout towards camp, you coulda got it to 730...
d0dger Posted Dec 4, 2010, 6:26 pm	I would wonder if the amount of fame you gain from combats is also affected by your own gang's fame in comparison to that of your opponent, considering you have the most famous gang in Evan, JS. Just speculation on my part, but it would seem in line with other things in the game.

Jeelz Posted Dec 6, 2010, 3:31 pm	Number 1 hey, JS? I'm 69 (out of PC's) at the moment, but let's see where we are both at soon... In the mean time, I started my own whine about this in a new thread. I hadn't seen this thread (wasn't paying enough attention). So my point is - surely if I'm 69th I shouldn't be losing fame when I win an event - surely the nerf wouldn't apply to me?
