Brian 'What The' Falk, Legion local commander, was doing his rounds around town, buying ammo, insuring that his tab at the mechanics was paid, all that boring stuff that being in charge really meant. He had a war to run, so no small detail could be over looked.

He and Jet Black were were discussing armor distribution on Buzzers.

"Them things don't need so darn much top and bottom armor son! I'd say 8cms is fine, just like every other car I put through here. Your playing it too darn safe with 11cm armor, that's weight I could be putting into your side armor instead."

Brian chuckled.  He'd had this talk with Jet before, and each knew the other wasn't going to budge on his opinion.

When the chores around town were done Brian started back for the Legions barracks in town. As he was walking past the marketplace a uniformed member of the Hellriders peeled out of the crowd and matched strides with him. Brian felt for his 9mm sub machine gun side arm and glanced to each side, judging where the best cover was.

"Darla sends her regards," the Hellrider extended a sealed letter to Brian, along with a set of keys. Without another word the strange man turned and disappeared into the crowd once again.

*Dear Brian “What the” Falk,  I apologize for not participating in the defense of your camp like promised, our convoy was hit by raiders under a contract hit, after a quick beating they talked, but the repairs set us back a while.

However, we want to assure you we are on your side in this war and we have been fighting against the oppressors from the Vault. We heard they attacked your camp with a Fire engine belonging to the scum from Rezeak's, and they caused some major damage.

The keys in question go to a fire engine we "Liberated" from the Rezeak's a few days back, while we cannot confirm if it is the same one, our spies have never reported on them possessing more than one of these at the time, You can pick it up at Marco Masters garage, he knows your coming, and we wish you luck in any further battles.

Fight well, Darla "Undead" Garcia*

The rest of the way to the headquarters Brian had a little more spring in his step. He had some spare Car Cannons in town, and there was nothing like mounting three or four of them at once. The look of fresh welds all around the mounts, the crisp look of both barrels in perfect alignment, all of it ready to head out and crumple some pirates hood in.

The war was looking up.

Sam 'The Stranger' Elliot considers the events gone by in the past few days. Finally, he says

"Alright boys, we tried playing this as 'honourably' as we could, apparently they don't appreciate the lengths we went to in order to make this war as fair as possible. Also they have not heeded out warning about the spineless coward in their camp."

He paused, as if wrestling with his morals.

"Kill them. Kill them all."
