I’m the new Tango, aka ‘Cash’, aka ‘Tango the Noob’, aka “Little Tango”; some of you may have met me.  Somehow when I signed up the name filter allowed me to have the very similar name as your much admired *Tango* (the marshal).  Don’t worry, apparently *Tango* has messaged Sam who will look at fixing this for me.  I guess I need to choose a new name, any other suggestions? I just wanted to get this name thing out there because I still get people confused about who I am. So there you have it, my first post. I’m already addicted to this game which has a steep learning curve,  but where everybody has been really good at advising me.  The best tip today was to put all my gangers in a 0.6L Trader Van, filled with fuel and tyres, equip it with napalm and go on a solo scout.  And don’t forget the marshmallows...  Special thanks to Doc Death who has given me two ready-to-roll (100%) cars to get me started and some invaluable advice.  And of course to Big Tango who has put up with my annoying stream of noob questions and spent his time taking me out on several scouts. PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Welcome, I'm pleased you're enjoying it  :-) How about 'Tanora' for your screen-name? It's an Irish fizzy drink similar to 'Tango'  ;-)

Doc Death Posted Jul 10, 2012, 3:45 pm	Damn I thought I was giving cars to a Marshal ... Good to have you in the community Tango and on our 1 scout together you handled yourself a lot better than I did on my first run. Hope you have fun with that trading car Doc.
*Splash* Posted Jul 10, 2012, 4:16 pm	Cool! Another player who loves the game, asks good questions, can already carry his own weight in a scout, and has a sense of humor (love that first post!) Welcome aboard! Nothing wrong with "Cash," if it isn't taken. Except it ryhmes with "Splash." I only took that name because "Spike" was taken before me, and I just typed something in real fast to start playing as soon as possible! Not regretting it, though, despite the association with the Tom Hanks/Daryl Hannah mermaid movie from 1984 of the same name (which is, admittedly, kind of sissy for a guy who likes to shoot people.) When I picked my name, I was thinking more like "splash" as in "splash damage," and it turns out the basic rocket launcher is my favorite weapon in the whole game. So it worked out just fine! You, however, have the rare option of taking your time to think about it, so don't be in a rush to decide and hope it works out later (like it did for me.)
