I finished a deathrace and the letters in the lobby were all blocks, usually i just relog to fix it. I went to relog in selected another race, registered for it, and then waited for the head to pop up. Head popped up and client crashed, relogged selected my race and client froze again, then gave me a virtual memory cannot be allocated error.
I am downloading fresh drivers and have reinstalled dark wind but problem persists. Any suggestions? |

I sometimes get that problem too. Nice to know I'm not the only one... |

The messed-up letters is a known problem with the Torque game engine. I spent quite a bit of time trying to fix it a couple of years ago, and indeed improved it substantially, but it still happens to certain people. Seems to be corrupted texture memory, with a client restart being the easy fix. | ||

I have been getting the lock up a bit lately myself and the usual fix of closing the client and starting again has not worked. I have had some success in loading another event, say as a spectator, then dropping out of it and trying my event again. |
