Cool.

Will we have to redo our old skins?

Went through the new Stormer skins. I'll have to repaint.

Yep, the old skins will all have to be scrapped. I removed the custom skins from any that had them; you can delete them from your account yourself.

YEEEEEEE HAW!!!

Thanks, *Tinker* for doing the horrible and painful part. MANY thanks. The only reason I never drove Stormers was they were too damned ugly.

Yeah, I like guns. But aesthetics count too.

And thanks *Sam* for whatever ordeal was involved in their implementation. ("Now where'd I put that blasted so-and-so....?") And *Rev V* is responsible for the front grille and rear end. Truly a team effort.

Oh, happy day!

Have done a couple of wilderness bits with the Stormer... is it just me, or is it riding kind of high?

Maybe it always did.

Its always looked quite high. Maybe why I like it so much ;)

New skins look good G.. only seen the green one so far as all mine are now green.

The Renowned Bullitt needs a paintjob B)

it does look to be more of a gap between wheel arch and wheel on the new, to be honest.

If we could have spinning hubcaps, we'd be ballin'.....

Personally I think it looks better now. Does it handle ok?
*Bastille*

Posted Dec 1, 2012, 12:06 pm
it might just seem that way? I really don't know.

They still handle great. Is it meant to have the same characteristics?
*sam*

Posted Dec 1, 2012, 1:37 pm
The handling is identical - what I did was replace the visible mesh, without touching anything else. The visible mesh is not part of any calculations or physics - (the collision mesh did not change)

Ahhh, I've sworn by the Stormer since I first started playing. Really, I'd say it's the best 3.2lv8 muscle in the game.

Just don't get it bouncing, lol
*Rev. V*

Posted Dec 2, 2012, 2:13 pm
Yes, Sam, if you could drop it a bit to match what the old ones looked like in the pics that JeeTeeOh posted, that would be sweet.

But it's not a huge priority or anything...
*JeeTeeOh*

Posted Dec 2, 2012, 11:16 pm
Personally I think it looks cool either way, but the present height is inconsistent with other muscles. Handling, as Sam said, is no different... and neither is the legendary "Stormer bounce."

Just an observation, really, as I'm used to the muscles riding a bit low and mean. Higher makes more sense from an apocalyptic Baja 1000 perspective, though.

From the rally perspective, muscles are complete nonsense

Depends how you see your muscle cars, Fly. :D I don't see this doing much better in our brand of rally.

For those who don't know Rev....... Here he is.

THIS is Rev and his band

You should go and see his band play!..... You never know if it's a nun or a monkey you get... BUT you get your money's worth! :p

Ray Stevens had NOTHING to do with this post..... He may not even play with the good Reverend.....

The new is definatly higher. U can see on the new, the bottom of the bidy aligns with the top of the rims. In the old it aligns between the rim and the tire center about a 1/3rd of the way from rim edge to wheel center. On the rear wheel anyway.

Thanks for the skin correction by the way!
