" So, what now boss?"
Sid sits back in his chair and thinks. He slowly grabs the CB and calls to the Somerset garage. "First things first, assemble the Robin Hoods. The Renshai are going to war. I understand why Mike held back, but I see things in a different light. The cause is worthy - and worthy of our FULL support. And I am not talking about equipment, I am talking about leadership. I want us to take active roles in making sure that it has the best chance to succeed. So as of this moment, I declare all Renshai to be members of Robin Hood and any that decide they don't want to can leave now." Not a person left. "Now that we got that out of the way, we need to install a network. I want audio communication with all the gangs that are currently in RH. I am done watching opportunities missed and having to watch as people get shot up as a result. It is time to get coordinated and stand together." |

SQWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOWEEEOOOOOSQWEEEEEEEE! Charles "Mechy" Mackie threw the headset across the ####pit of the Apache he was working on. "HOLY SH_T!" he yelled, his hands going over his ears. "What the f_ck was that!" Every Slaughterhouse crew member in the garage jerked their heads up and looked in his direction. Even the rookies that were tasked with stripping what was left of the "Cookie Monster" popped their heads out of anywhere that had a hole in it to see what was going on...and there were quite a few holes to accommodate them after that last scout. "I heard it too, Mackie!" yelled Ulysses "Pistons" Urqhart from the LandRunner parked next to Mackie. "Sounds like some idiot broadcasting to Somerset or something...." "SOMERSET?" Mackie screamed. "What moron is trying to use a CB to call halfway across nowhere when the things barely reach between vehicles in a scout?" "No clue, "Mechy," but I caught something about "hoods" and "support" or somethin'?" Ulysses answered. "Maybe they're running low on car parts?" "I dunno, but the idiot nearly deafened me...broadcasting in the open like that!" "Mechy" shook his head, bopped himself on the temple with the heel of one hand. "I think I can still hear." Chuckles and cat calls about 'old age' and 'hearing aids' flew through the air. Mackie waved them all off, laughing. "Next thing, I suppose, is they're gonna start asking the 'haves' for stuff to give to the 'have nots,' so they can keep their vehicles running." Mackie said, sliding out the armored hatch. "I need a drink." |
