I updated windows c++ runtime environment. restarted to install. tried to log in. again: "Unable to Launch Darkwind Client Application. It is likely that DarkwindLobby has failed to update the game, More information will be displayed" Please reply or pm with fix! Thank you guys so much!
Sarge Posted Apr 15, 2013, 10:38 am	Hi there, Have you tried installing the C++ 32 bit run time thingy as well as/as opposed to the 64-bit one? I believe DW requires the 32 bit runtime. Let us know if that helps.

There are 2 executables : DarkwindLobby.exe DarkwindClient.exe ALWAYS run Darkwind by double clicking the DarkwindLobby.exe I think this should fix your problem as the game will only patch properly from running Lobby.exe NOT Client.exe Cheers, Brun.
