I am traveling and setting up on a laptop. Anyone use one. Any special issues?

I play on 2 laptops. A 2 year old £350 Acer and a 3 year old Toshiba. Both play just fine... I get lag on the Acer whenever a windmill appears :cyclops:

I used to use an old t41 thinkpad. Worked. Did have a bit of an issue loading maps and I can't remember how I got around it.

Get a USB mouse - the touchpad is very irritating to use with DW.

If you havn't bought your lapdog yet I'd suggest making sure you get one with a decent Nvidea chipset for the GPU.

I do all my gaming on lapdogs now.

Don't get a laptop with windows 8. Windows 8 is garbage and it causes all sorts of problems for DW.

It is a Win7 laptop for travel. At home, gaming is done on desktop w/SSD. Need to get USB mouse though. Pad does suck for DW, but is at least workable.

I'm running Win 8.1 on my low end 2014 lapdog...it works fine....I do use a mouse though....touchpads drive me bonkers and my sanity is fragile enough as it is! :cyclops:
