Just wondering what effect low stats, particularly Dex has on skills.
After returning I noticed a couple of my gang (who may or may not have partying too hard on various illicit substances while I was away) have reached Dex of 1. Just wondering if they are worth sticking with, or whether they need to retire to the big party house in the sky ![]() |

Hi,
It's to do with your characters aging - the stats start to drop once they get pass 30. Once your str reaches 0, then it's buryin' time. |

I think the question is more about what low Dex will do. It's not too bad actually, it just means shooting accuracy is reduced a little. Dex is probably the least important of the stats.

Dex is kind of a big deal in that a high dex character will very noticeably outshoot a low dex char, but if they're already highly skilled I wouldn't be scrapping them just yet. Now, whether they live long enough to be replaced, well, that's up to RNGesus. |

The only issues ive had with low Dex guys have been:
1- at starting levels of skill they cant seem to hit the broad side of a barn even at close range. Ive literally had a gunner sit in a parked car shooting at the side of another parked car 15m away and miss 3 out of 4 shots. 2- Worst: Ive had low Dex guys drop a grenade on their foot more than once. They do not make good Ped Combateers if you plan to use thrown weapons. Other than those 2 isues they don't seem any different from any other ganger (to me) |
