Howdy! I played a lot a few years back (even wrote a song about it!) and with all the recent buzz around Carwars 6th edition, I'm having a hankering to play again, but I'm intimidated.
The user interface is super clunky, and I don't remember how to do things. Also, I have so many vehicles and gangsters in hibernation, I'm worried that if I start being active again, I'll need to spend a bunch of time to earn credits to keep them around, when all I really want to do is play a few pick-up games to scratch the itch. So that's it. I'm a bit intimidated, and short on time for a big learning curve. Here's my song, just for funsies! https://sites.google.com/site/goodidearecords/blog/untitledpost |

I am able to play extremely casually.
I think starting out casually is very hard though. You gotta put the time in build a good stack then try to live off the proceeds. I break even playing in leagues(a few of them - the most profitable). I dont even scout. If you scout once a week and maintain only a few vehicles you will be fine. Problem is we gamers always want more more more. Steve Jackson is a money hungry ...something somthing. 146$ u.S for his *special* KS, of stuff that has 400$ worth (my ass). Forget new carwars its a sham. |
