Thanks to those who attended the meeting yesterday about camp wars. The opinion on most items was that we should wait another 2 weeks or so before making changes, since we only have one combat to base things on now.

The one key thing which I will change immediately is the turn limit: this will now be 120 turns. King of The Hill scoring will start on turn 9.  Not everyone agrees with this number, and we can certainly revisit it again. 120 got the most agreement at the meeting.

I''m also going to change it so that, in any pvp event, a vote on turn length changes will need 100% agreement to be passed.

There was a good discussion on what to do with CR. Many think we'll have a serious issue and massive battles of 8000CR+ happening. This could sour the whole concept to people and stop them taking part, which would be a disaster.

One interesting suggestion which many (not all) agree is a good idea is to put a limit on how much CR a battle can have - perhaps 4000.  In this case the camp with the higher total will be reduced to 4000, and the other camp will be reduced  in proportion.

Another suggestion is to do a global reduction in how much CR everyone gets to play with (perhaps by half?)  No decision on this yet either.

A change to the per-player CR may also be necessary (especially if overall CR changes are to happen), but opinion seems to diverge as to whether the current 750 is too low or too high.

Another new idea which seems interesting for future discussion is to have the KoTH flag appear later in the battle, and/or have it invisible for some time at the start.

the 8000+ battles will probobly be very rare idk if we should change it based on something that might only happen once or twice

Better but a case of Redbull, and no getting yourself killed early next battle so you can go to bed and not have to play a 12 hour battle.  B)

I feel that the limit now for solo is too low, solo megas aren't like they used to be. The CR limit for solo battles should not be lowered.

What about limiting CR per vehicle in the PVP battles or limit the number of cars some how. limits per player would be a nice concept but if i's 6 players vs 1 player this gets complex.

if we get mercenaries to drive and fight then there may not be as much of a issues with cr balancing since the risks are different

If you tell your doctor you are having trouble staying awake and focusing he will prescribe aderal... just don't tell him your up all night playing video games :)

120 turns.. so still about 2.5 hours... Its a ridiculous and utterly antisocial number. i would be going for 40 - 50 turns.

if overall CR is reduced this needs to be matched by a proportional reduction in player CR limits for obvious reasons.

I understand why a couple of vocal voices want to make it possible for 2 or 3 people to conduct wars on their own - but that flies in the face of the rationale behind the introduction of these wars in the first place.

2 or 3 per batlle has to be feasible. Or are you going to able to coordinate 5 or 6 hexes of battles over a week with that (very good yes) group of yours.

When the neutral parts are filled..thats the reality. You will need more people to run ALL the battles. You original point of scraping the server for anyone to fill even a flash will stand.

Please lets talk on voice and not on this ####... never works!

It would be nice if all players could vote on a 24 hour timeout. For those times when battles stretch on hours more than they should have and more important things happen, wife goes to hospital, boss threatens to fire you if your late again, etc. Without risking the AI killing your guys you been training for 6 or 7 years
