Hex Map and New map tiles

Apologises if this has been raised before, was just wondering if now we have the hex map if there is room for more maps to be included in the game?

Or if there is enough different maps to represent all the different hex types?

More combat maps?
Yes, there's room. They're quite a bit of work to make, though.

A few years back I tried making one and learned quite a bit. It was themed off of a picture I saw on a calendar and was a figure 8 race around a pair of Mesas. I got to the point where I had to make gates and then decided I should start over, using what I’d learned through trial and error.

Then I never did.

One thing (maybe I missed it?) that would have been helpful would be a test mode where I could free drive. Part of my flaws I needed to fix was that I didn’t have a perspective of scale and made the roads too small or too wide and couldn’t tell how it would work.
