Somehow he has become a local celebrity, and even without the hangover he would not be able to figure it out. He remembers being entered into the COE rally when it came through town, strapping in the Roadrunner - which the gang has never had. He remembers outracing the pack through the first 4 gates. He remembers seeing gate 5, then it all goes black...…….. Next thing he knows, he is being removed from the wreckage that used to be his ride. And everyone is smiling and patting him on the back. This morning a package came from Elms, delivered by a disgustingly dirty, yet somehow attractive midget. Russell has heard what these packages mean, and shortly after receiving it he peeks in to see that his guess was right and he is now a rich man. Russell decides maybe it is worth it to get out of the garage every now and again...……...

Funny thing is, about 6 years ago in one of these bars around here, them Joel boys were saying the same things then. It tain't like its new news to them. Why train a guy up to ram folks if you already knew he would catch a bug and die? I guess they get more joy out of complaining than they do racin'!

Folks compete, they talk smack, that's how it goes. Feel free to PM me about this and we can discuss it. We've always been cool, so I'm not gonna bring any bias into it, because I don't have one in things like this. Can't, it's my job. Been a marshal for about a decade now, can't say that I've had any (legitimate) complaints about me being unfair to folks. If you bring things to my attention that violate forum standards, I WILL address them. I'm just not seeing that here.
