Absolutely lovely comment you made in the other thread there chief.

My family and I have cared for an elderly relative with mixed advanced dementia for more than three years, last year we had to put him into a care home as his care needs required a more specialised environment.

We live with seeing a loved one lose all that they were and all that they loved and the terrifying experience that is for them.

I don't need to insult you or argue with you, I feel a genuine sense of despair and pity for you. I sincerely hope neither you or a loved one have to live with dementia.

Nine -
The forum bickering needs to stop. Take it up in PMs man. Sam locked the previous thread for a reason.

I miss the good old days when we duked it out on Bombed Luna Road.

Even though I wasn't talking to you Longo, I will say I am very much aware why Sam locked the other thread, I haven't insulted Joel. However, I will not stand by and see a disability used as an insult and not respond - particularly given my real life situation in regards to this disability. Now, if you think that is wrong - fine - I can respect your different opinion. If Sam thinks I have overstepped the mark he is more than capable of letting me know.

Yes Tez, I do miss those days - there was some great competition at times and some of us managed to be civil and respectful even.

I used to like the pink slip events. You could invite a friendly enemy out into the wilderness duke it out in a single vehicle with winner take all. Settle a grudge toon-to-toon or just practice your wilderness technique with an enemy who you chose to trust.

In the days of duelling when a man was required to defend his words with his life people were a little more cautious in what they said to one another.

Wars are one thing and seldom end up being gentlemanly affairs, duels could be honourable.

A duel is the only sort of PVP I would consider, as you agree to fight at a mutually convenient time rather than get ambushed when only one or other player decides.
