lithium perk?

i got a hex last deployment cycle that gave me lithium or chrome, i got 1 lithium but nothing showed i recieved it in camp activities, and just out of curiosity i looked to see how much a ep plant costs but there was nothing to be able to be built. is this just a worthless perk i cant use?

You have to build a electronics factory, then when activated this will make EPS out of scrap. The ability to make it will not appear until you have the hex, and also the necessary materials. The materials to make one are significant.

With an Electronics Factory, 1 lithium tile will produce 10 EPs per day, with 12 workers. It will also consume 2 scrap. The materials to make one are -

CPs 500
EPs 250
Stone 400
Scrap 200
Production Cost 750k
Upkeep Cost 10k

There is no benefit of having more than 1 Electronics factory

does the perk that gave me 1 lithium enouph to constantly make ep's? and will the 1 lithium go away after i no longer have the perk, or will my camp always have enouph lithium now, even if the perk goes to another hex next cycle?

You will have that 1 lithium every day. Its just a constant number as long as you have the perk. You cant "collect" lithium, but will always have the 1 as long as you have the perk and will never have more than the one lithium unless you acquire more lithium perks/tiles

ah wish i had gotten the perk sooner, wouldnt be worth it now to build one only having 6 months left out of a 24 game month cycle, not knowing if ill still have access to that perk next cycle, thanks for the info.
