Stompin Pete Posted Jan 5, 2008, 9:28 pm	I've Dl'd the zip file, unzipped, and ran the setup. When I clicked on client, it updated and asked for username and password. When I try to login, it immediately gives me a pop up saying Unable to launch Darwind Client Application, it is likely that darkwindLobby has failed to update the game. It opens a webpage that says to run the setup again and/ or java update, which I have done. No joy. It does give me a small screen saying loading Darkwind Client with a picture of a muscle car (nice art, btw). I am stuck (and a bit of a tard when it comes to the inner workings of computers). Any help would be appreciated... looks to be a promising game.
*sam* Posted Jan 5, 2008, 9:51 pm	Are you using Vista? If so, when you run the client, you need to right-click it and "run as administrator", otherwise Vista is blocking any patching which we need to do to get you the latest version.
Stompin Pete Posted Jan 5, 2008, 9:54 pm	Did some more diggin throught the forums...... Found someone else with exact same problem in Failure to Launch.... followed that advice and I am up and running. Thanks for the reply, Sam
