Oh my gosh!
The great Sam Redfern, Creator of the mythical Amiga game Critical Hit is out again! I can't tell how much I loved and still love Critical Hit! back in my Amiga days, I used to play the demo version I got from the aminet cd over and over again. I continued playing it over time with my powered up Amiga and then with the emulator... Some years ago I searched the web and found that site of yours (http://www.it.nuigalway.ie/~sredfern/) and downloaded the complete version of Critical Hit I always desired so much... but only recently I've been able to play it with the emulator. I can now say it for sure... Critical Hit is the best game ever! ![]() So I searched again I was greatly surprised as I found this new project! I just wanted to really thank you for the great work you did with critical and all the fun I had playing it ![]() |

Hey, that's great to read, thanks for posting ![]() Yeah, a lot of the same thinking is in Darkwind that was in Critical Hit. Except the critical hits tables are even bigger! - there's over 350 ways to injure your characters now.. ![]() |
