Penumbra has gained some popularity for its horror theme, powerhouse graphics engine and very impressive physics. Even more impressive is that its made by just a few young guns

I agree.
But then, to begin with, there isn't much "cover and run tactics" AI needed, since the game is just one heck of a bloody scarefest ![]() |

Looks interesting...
I noticed the usual daft comments from the kiddies on the video downloads pages. Talking of which, if any of you feel like defending darkwind over at mmorpg.com, it could only help. The gameplay trailer was put up on their news section a few days ago and got the usual barrage of abuse from the kids (all they want is better graphics and no gameplay originality, it seems). |
