and a tad unfair (trying not to appear petulant) - problem sits with this event - S61589 Ok Sam, here goes. I've had an entirely trouble free and enjoyable evening - played a travel, and  3 scouts as follows S61565 GW Volunteers Vs Firelight Manhunters    Gates Of Gateway Truckstop    2008-08-27 18:08:46 S61568 Kerosene Vs Boss    Highway To Hell    2008-08-27 18:30:14 S61579 eight rounds rapid Vs Northern Mutant Alliance    Gates of Somerset    2008-08-27 19:47:58 S61584 eight rounds rapid Vs Northern Mutant Alliance    Northern Farmlands    2008-08-27 20:26:59 all of these events were trouble free, I also within this time connected to an event which hollowinsides was playing at lost oasis - no problems... I begin to feel good, all is well in my world of darkwind. Then a return at gates of somerset - S61589 eight rounds rapid Vs Colt 45 Crew Gates of Somerset 2008-08-27 20:47:58 not something I was expecting (93 scout) though not unheard of I accept. anyway - I got a phone call just before the event started, took it then returned to play, the event would not open to me,the pop up simply didnt appear... I tried restarting client (more than once), and a system reboot and also clicking log in again (sometimes after an event I have to do this to reconnect to chat?) - in terms of getting my event pop up (the one that says spectate/close or play/close or register/close) it was unresponsive - although when hovering my curor over event it would turn red, when clicked on nothing happened... Other events would come up, I even entered some, but my own event no. at one point the pop up came up... I stood amazed (well sat amazed) - only to see the pop up say that the event had not started? (I know at this point it had as I was getting reports in lobby from other players and uyrgent messages from goats to come and help) Apparently using the loot cars with good weapons and front armor and our solid original vehicles Goats played heroically and saved our crews and vehicles (thanks goats!)  ............................................................................................. I wonder if there is something weird with the database and my squads or my membership of some squads? or is it an event issue - I do know that while I was in a squad that was in an event, the pop up either didnt appear, or did once saying event had not started... Help me obi wan, you are my only hope. I love this game, but this uncertainty and feeling of putting my own crews and others crews in jeopardy makes me worry about playing with others and therefore robs me of a good part of the game, lets get it fixed ASAP. cheers all.
