*Longo* Posted Oct 10, 2008, 11:48 pm	Trooper Paul Anthony, Leader of Longo's MerryMen, had a tough decision to make. He had just recently lost a new up and coming scout in Elms, along with one of the Merry Men's two Pikes. "We need another scout in the gang", he thought. So he went out and hired Nicholas McCoy. "I wonder if he is the 'Real' McCoy" Anthony pondered. "Send em out in that little suicide trap....I mean that buggy we have there. If he make it to Elms, maybe we will keep him." So out went McCoy in the Merry men's last buggy, "BL Scout." Several minutes later, Anthony heard quite the ruccess outside the walls of the Badlands Truckstop. He observed BL Scout being chased by a DiVinci and a Scorpion. "Why didnt he truce them?" Anthony wondered. "Maybe he is a show-off, great!" BL Scout had a decent lead on the 2 pirate cars. He could see the truckstop ahead to his left. he saw some well defined, small hills just to the left of the gates entrance. McCoy pondered. Man, I can hit them hills and these guys sure as heck wont be able to follow me. He felt confident until he rolled the "titanic" of Evan cars onto its top. "I best get out of this buggy and flip er before that scorpion locks onto me, thought McCoy. Out he jumped, and 3 seconds later, was able to flip the buggy over. McCoy smiled momentarily, until he saw teh scorpion locking his rocket launchers onto him. McCoy had just enough back into the buggy, and grab the steering wheel, when BOOM, BOOM, teh rockets flew. Up in the air the buggy went, a second later, BOOM, BOOM again, higher into the air. "I am so dead" thougth McCoy, until he realized that these rocket blasts had blown him clear onto the wall surrounding the truckstop. "Wow" though McCoy. "I live to see another day." OOC - Scout skill started at 21. After scout, 21 still.

*Longo* Posted Oct 11, 2008, 6:44 pm	Decided to take that terrible road to Elms from GW. I trruced encounter, and then processed arrival. 2 skill points. Lucky I didnt have to run, I forgot to repair the buggy, hehe Scout skill now 23.
*Longo* Posted Oct 13, 2008, 4:47 am	After having arrived in Elms, Ole McCoy headed to Triple R. Elmsfield. Arrived after an encounter. Scout skill still 23.
*Longo* Posted Oct 13, 2008, 4:56 am	Headed back to Elms....2 encounters including a BH attack...still alive...but still skill 23. Best not forget to repair teh buggy this time..

*Longo* Posted Oct 15, 2008, 12:46 am	Back to Elms....BH! Flipped the dang buggy over....got out, back in it!!! Flipped the buggy over again.....this time BH are too close. The 24 scout demoes...and is eaten by bandits.... Morale of the story....training new scouts suxs...and the rumor that buggies almost never flip...is untrue.
*JD_Basher* jd.basher@charter.net Posted Oct 15, 2008, 4:01 am	who told you buggies never flip?....... They are the lightest of our chassis! There are some that flip and some that don't. It all depends on what you are firing from the side AND what hits you on the side as opposed to the chassis strength and weight!
*Longo* Posted Oct 15, 2008, 4:15 am	I wasnt firing anything, and wasnt hit at all on this last scout. Driving over rough terrain flipped me twice!!!
