I know we lost two good gunners on that escort, but we survived." One of them speaks up, "I didn't do it ma'am - it was him" and jabs a finger at a new recruit hired to fill one of the two spots. "What," she asks quietly. "Um, ma'am, I took a job for us. An escort to Elmsfield. Only when the deal was done I was given the papers and they clearly say Firelight on them. I've never been there ma'am." Linda curses under her breath. "After the losses we took just coming here I'm not letting any of you green horns near that place.
