Set Extension Limit in Nvidia control panel to OFF.

I'm probably the only one who will ever have this problem - but never know.

Joel, is this for the garbled lobby text? Cuz I have that bug. :-)

Sorta - I was getting it soon as event loads - all graphix were totally messed up...like EVERYthing. then I would exit and even the fonts on the message box when you hit escape in driving school, were GONE.

Then i'm in the lobby and yes fonts are porked and I had to guess where the quit button was.

Anyway I did this change and now OpenGL works like a dream on my Vista box(so far), thus when I exit, I also do not have a garbled lobby(and fonts) as well.

Just weird.

I've had the garbled lobby fonts on exit bug before but never an in-game issue.

Any Nvidia (or other tweaks) would be helpful.

which drivers are you using? downloaded from nvidia or from microsoft windows update?

nvidia - who the hell uses MS drivers lmao.

absolutely not a driver issue in my case - same exact issue with 5+ version over the past 6months.

Was actually just a simple setting change - just hard to know which one - I found it trial and error., one setting at a time.

Did this also fix your problem where lots of the models had no textures?

Well that was a D3D problem(so no), this fixed my problem with OpenGL not working at all(well it would load the more horrid looking graphics in an event).

my settings are as joel indicated and I did have one case of the martian writing when I returned to the lobby.

also had the occasional left over explosion graphic from a previous scout when I loaded a new encounter.

Ya I can confirm this setting doesn't help with that kind of thing.

If anything this post really only serves my Vista box lol. If I lose the text file on my computer where I wrote this down.
