I've now got cyan lines showing on my monitor. I installed a program called pdfcreator last night. I used the PC for some work and then cranked up DW with no issues. After a good bit of playing the graphics went haywire in a way that I can't describe. I rebooted the PC and went back into the client...same issue. I've uninstalled the pdf creator, I've re-installed the ATI drivers and DW but the blue lines are there and when I hit enter at the client login, the client vanishes with nary a process running. I'm thinking that the Video card went out and the timing is coincidental because the BIOS screen is hard to read as well. It's a Radeon 9600 (AGP)
Any Ideas? |

yup, I think it's hosed. dang 5 & 1/2 year old video card!
At least I can pick up an AGP cheap, bummer is I'll have to have it shipped. Oh, and the DW client was running as a process. I had a large console log with the line of "This shouldn't happen....." |

Yeah, coloured lines across the display seems to mean the graphics memory is broken/fried. Possibly from overheating (that's what killed mine last year anyway). |
