St Germain Posted Jun 22, 2009, 12:09 am	I'm not sure if this is Mac related, but when I try and upload a jpg file with my avatar I get: The avatar upload failed. The file you specified may not exist. Any suggestions? I've tried several files, all from my desktop, and get I get the same response every time.
Marrkos Posted Jun 22, 2009, 12:14 am	Pretty sure the upload doesn't work. You have to host the picture someplace.

*JD_Basher* jd.basher@charter.net Posted Jun 22, 2009, 2:27 am	Upload your picture to Imageshack.com / It's free and really easy to use. You can upload and use images as Avatars once you have them loaded there. Just follow the hover-over instructions.

It should show immediatly, are you going control panel > edit avatar> Specify a URL for your avatar : this is where you put the code you copied from imageshack or where ever you upoaded the image, is it the right size 64 x 64 pixels

Make sure the url is correctly formatted, and the file type is either gif, jpg, or png. Grog: Yes. Those are the exact steps I take...  UGH. I tried two pictures, one 60x60 and the other 64x64
Marrkos Posted Jun 23, 2009, 8:33 pm	I couldn't get the ImageShack image to show up, but http://www.graymattercomputing.com/files/screenshots/madhatupload.jpg works OK. Must be something wrong with the URL ImageShack is providing.
