Slip Posted Jul 29, 2009, 6:25 pm	I have this error: "Unable to Launch Darkwind Client Application. It is likely that DarkwindLobby has failed to update the game, More information will be displayed" I downloaded and ran the windows patch file, 'vcredist_x86.exe' (from the Microsoft link). It ran through some progress bars and then reported nothing (twice)(and rebooted). I've tried to run the game again but I get the same error. Any suggestions?
lordbam Posted Jul 30, 2009, 8:26 am	Uninstall darkwind. Check the dark-wind directory is deleted in program files, if not delete it manually. Do a fresh install.
Slip Posted Jul 30, 2009, 11:55 am	Thanks for the reply, will do, eventually. But as a result of my difficulties, I've realized that my java is defunct. All my Java related activities time out, including Java's test page. So I'm working on resolving the problem (prolly malware). Hopefully, the darkwind install hasn't tripped up my system... Feel free to delete this thread. If I continue to have problems after cleaning up my Java mess, I'll start a new thread. Thanks again.
