Darkwind - Viewing Topic: Question on using melee weapons

I had the good fortune to recruit a mutant with 153 strength. So I figured, this might be someone for whom melee weapons are actually useful. It would be fun to watch her (!) toss cars around with her bare hands. So I bought her a hammer and took her down to the local deathrace to try her out. I had her run up to demo'ed cars and try to smack them with the hammer, just to see how much damage it would do.

Here's the problem... I couldn't figure out how to do it. She was standing right next to the vehicle, hammer in hand. I tried right-clicking on the vehicle while she stood next to it, and there was nothing like "Attack this car with hammer" option. I right-clicked on her, and there was a "take control of this vehicle" option, but no option to attack it with the hammer.

So, what am I doing wrong?

My guess would be that you can only attack ped... although ive never tried melee so dont take my word for it

Yeah, Ive done melee. I think you're only able to attack peds or monsters with melee.
