Darren 'Mental' Block sits carefully reading a grubby little oil stained note, shrugs his shoulders and passes the note back over to 'Dangerous' Dan.

As second in command of the EETC and the first graduate of the Firelight Training Initiative several years ago Dan knows it must be serious for the boss to send a message by hand rather than the more usual HF radio. He reads it again.

Darrel sat at the usual EETC table, three chairs conspicuously empty each with an untouched shot glass in front of them. He looked round at the rest of the crew.

'We have suffered our first casualties in the war, they fought to the end. In memory of 'Dangerous' Dan Anderson, Neil 'Gonzo' Greathouse and John 'Thomas' Thompson... Death to the Anarchists!'

'Death to the Anarchists!' chorus the remainder of the crew as they empty their shot glasses.
