Darkwind - Viewing Topic: what happens if I run an event "late"?

for example, I'd like to queue up all my travels in the morning before going to work, then come home and resolve the events.

now, it's clear to me that I need to process the event before they can happen, so my crew is not in jeopardy for my absence, but the question is: does this stand true even if I run after the event duration?

If i start a 6 hour event at 7:00 in the morning, can I process all the encounters at 20:00 even if the trip should have ended by then?

is there an hard limit on this?

and now the tricky part: what happens if I'm on a mission that ends exactly at 19:00 so after the trip end but before the encounters?

Yes. The squad page says something like "arrival is imminent, but encounters still need to be played".

You lose the mission. You need to have completed all encounters and processed arrival (can take up to 10 minutes) before the mission deadline. Missions tend to be very generous about time though, so it's not a big problem.
