I see. I was wondering because I was getting chased by 2 just playing around and got them split up simply because the one car was faster and the slower turned off pursuit so I beat up on the faster one after turning around and the slower car picked up pursuit again and I eventually had to run anyway.

Not only that, but sometimes if one bad guy gets autoescaped, the other (say in the case of 2) sometimes will decide HE doesn't like the odds and will run. If he's at 350 there's a chance of him going poof.

Happened to me last night. Sent the cars out, pared down the enemy, then, the two remaining said "Nah" and turned around. Took me too long to turn around and they vanished.

Which, I have no problem with. lol. If I can run away, so can they.

Dude... I finally felt ready.

S186910

and I was.. my Windsor 2 and my Pheonix against a Mulcher and an Battleaxe (pu & choper for us noobs).

I ran up the road, figuring the P/U would outrun the chomper.... and it did. I savaged the pickup with a double team before the chomper even got to me.

Too bad I destroyed the P/U's engine. Barely a scratch to me..... solo scouting is awesome!!! I just followed the basic advice, 1 muscle and 1 sedan. Luckily I have a lvl 58 scout from running mail between SS and GW and EL.

Cheers.

Cool Volvo! I tried the waters last night and got a 3 on 1 where I was the one. I saved my gangers but lost the car and the gangers won't be back for a day or so after 1 successful foot encounter. I think I am need of a better scout before moving forward again as that seems to impact the more favorable odds. So, I will build my scouting a bit before trying this again I think. Is there benefit to scouting hyenas, pirates or a specific group of pirates? Or, does it really matter?

HAR - you're almost always better off having two cars instead of one. A single car will run into CR minimums for encounters and also has tactical disadvantages.

Gotta have a wingman!

Scout Hyena's until you can't. They don't spawn the tougher chassis types and are good to learn on. By the time you know how to scout good enough that they are easy the option to scout against them goes away.

So, desert hyenas are easier than pirates? I was wondering what the difference was.
