Windows 7, my laptop died

LoSboccacc Omnia vincit armor Darkwind Guru Renegade Group: Members Posts: 523 Joined: Feb 23, 2010 it has slightly less annoying popups, still be prepared to agree to launch darkwind each time (workaround: give write permission to write in the darkwind folder to Users) ...aaaand because of that, is a tad more vulnerable to virus than vista. it's strongly advised to use an adblocker to surf internet, just in case. I personally run it without an antivirus but I'm a bit of an hardcore user so your mileage may vary. I've hijack this installed just in case, but never used it. My grandpa instead get a virus almost on a weekly basis, in spite of the antivirus installed (and I've tried norton, avira and ms security essential - none of them prevented anything) ......................... vet wv Posted Mar 9, 2010, 9:42 am

I get the little "Game client is loading" popup box but then nothing. EDIT: tried setting compatability mode, was already running as administrator... tried a complete uninstall then reinstalled it and the only thing this did is reset the sound settings to the defaults.
