Perhaps one of the players you were scouting with had one of their characters be all like, "Screw this gang, Lordbam's gang is much better!" and ditch that gang for yours?

That's pretty strange indeed.. FootSquad ID: 1450 -- this means it was formed months ago, since new IDs are currently at 4372..

I can dig out some database backups and do some detective work, if you think it's important.. would be a bit of effort though..
