What determines the bounty amount?

Big Daddy BD And Sons Racer Renegade Group: Members Posts: 211 Joined: May 8, 2009 This week I had an 'accidental' PvP encounter that we truced out of. But my bounty offer came up first: about $6500. Which seems incredibly cheap. If the other guy had been pursuing PvP, I think it probably should have been more painful for me to slip away despite having the flag on. Though I don't spend money on much besides repairs (so even on a slow week my money grows), so maybe my perspective is a little skewed. This was out of Firelight (at the gates, I think), and we both had a single car - mine was Windsor 2 with 2 MG, I think his was Apache with just a little more weaponry. I clicked "truce" knowing you'd do the same. I think it has to do with the squad's valuation. That's my theory. With the pvp flag, doesnt this make the bounty obsolete ?
