ello , i was just wondering if any one knows the ins and outs of ganger development,

the guide on the wiki sugests you shuldent send youre gangers to scool to lern guns/driveing becos thay will get plenty of on the job training.
however, drive and guner are core skills and i am wondering if i shud try get my gangers good at theas to skills first before moving on to more jental persutes,
what do you recon is the "minimum acseptabul level" for guns and driveing?

also, are all events equel? do your gangers learn more from wining a race than loosing? more from scouting than raceing? is exsperiance rewarded on a per shot, per hit or per event basis? do you get more for demo-ing bad guys?

ps
thanks for figting youre way thrue my crapy gramer/spelling :-)

Train your guys in whatever you want to matey -- even cycling. While there's no cycles to use the skill, it gives valuable cross training. There's literally no useless skill to train.

I've found that deathracing provides plenty of gunnery and driving, almost a point per race.

travelling and escaping will usually provide one-two point in scouting and one in driving if you escape from 500+ mt

and if you have a talented character on one skill (it's not a visible flag) you'll get to the first spec in about a week of travelling and deathracing.

by now I'm running the scout from gw to ss, doing a deathrace at every stop (gw races are rare so if there is none up I'll just resume travelling) it's a money sink, but he's got 15or so point of scouting in the last three days and 5 of gunnery.

btw. get your guys paired and use the same pair in the same car when scouting, this way you'll see which one is more geared toward leadership and which one toward mechanics. driving wasted car at home give you plenty of leadership and mechanic skill, but only the 'best' character of the pair will benefit of it so you should keep your pairing for maximizing the point gain.

this leave you free of using the training for other skill that you use less, like first aid or others, as field training will really cover gunnery, mechanic and driving very well.
