I just finished a ladder race with xander on JY1, it started off well, got down the hill. Hit around 180 cos we were in devilles. Slowed down a bit into the bend... massive crash, xanders engine more or less shot, my character, Artur Rice (the hero), is left with the tiniest slight of health left, broken ribs, concussion and the likes.

After the crash his cars spins out wildly, the other car is now at the other end of the sand bit, but due to it's broken engine isn't very fast.
So arthur speeds up to take over, narrowly avoiding a kamikazee attempt.

He is able to hold on throughout an entire second lap with his tiniest smidgeon of health.

He crosses the line to take the fastest ever lap time, and as he crosses the line, promptly falls unconscious!

He was able to hold on to until he finished what he set out to do, even through all the agony!

He is a hero!

Heh, sweet. I was in a deathrace once and my gunner got knocked out. He regained consciousness halfway thru the 2nd lap and carried on shooting
