Jessica Trosper happened to walk by as this exchange went on, and she chuckled slightly to herself.

With a backward cast glance, she and a grim smile she said, "Yeah, it wasn't the pirates that made the rest of my crew leave, it was those damned gate fees. We were up to $1600."

She continued walking and plopped down in a 'comfy' chair upholstered with questionably pink leather.

Thomas "Gotsda" Clapp looked up from his beer at the small commotion going on regarding gates fees. Taking a long tug on the frosty beverage he chuckled to himself. Twelve Hundred is a lot of cabbage he thought. He supposed it wouldn't do to complain about 380 any more. Course, the Hitmen had been killing baddies herabouts for weeks on end. Except for that slight misunderstanding with the local militia a few weeks back everything had been relatively kosher. Well, except for that nasty business with the Collision boys. Though it appeared Latte's A team had blunted that threat a bit. Gotsda finished the rest of his beer while watching the Trosper woman walk by.
