It seems the wiki has some mistakes due to the change from mpu=90900 to mpu =135000.

However, in the range calculation i made, it seems 135 000 is not the exact value.

I suspect a rounding error somewhere. If Sam can acknowledge which is correct ?
(either the rounding value is to take into account or not)

I started to modify the Wiki but i need an ack.
Thanks

I have found that each car seems to be a just a little different..

Personally I found the following forumula to work pretty good:

Gas Tank Units * 132750 / Vehicle Weight = Max Travel Distance

I normally reverse it if I know the distance.. Like GW to BL is @500 miles... So:

500 * Vehicle Weight / 132750 = Gas Tank Units

To confirm that each car is a little different... Set your tank and gas it up.. Then put it in a squad and see how far it can go.. Now using those values you can figure out the "magic number (e.g. 132750) for that car..

As an example, a pickup with a 15 unit tank, and 3584 weight can go 555 miles... So:

555 * 3584 / 15 = 132608

A Windsor II with a 5 unit tank, and 4686 weight can go 142 miles... So:

142 * 4686 / 5 = 133082.4

A 2 axle lorry with a 250 unit tank, and 22996 weight can go 1446 miles... So:

1446 * 22996 / 250 = 133008.864

So the pickup's "magic number" is 132608, while a Windsor II's "magic number" is 133082.4, and a 2 axle lorry's "magic number" is 133008.864...

Which are all pretty close to my normal rule-of-thumb 132750 (which is why I use it instead of the number on the wiki).

I hope that helps.  :D

Edit - If you do decide to edit the Wiki please consider adding in this distance/time map based on the original one. Thanks!
