As you've already explained, you would never fight a battle in your disadvantage either, and I've attacked your shanty scout squad once or twice, and you bountied out of them because you thought the ganger skill level was unbalanced. Hah, and didn't I already say it, I never said that "You have 0 skill people", I said that mortars are weapons that require no skill to use, I used an army of mortars back when I did mega, and the rookies never shot better than the skilled, since scoring a direct hit with a mortar is nigh impossible, and you barely did by the way, you just kill the enemy via bottom armor splash, hence, why ganger skill isn't that important. Shark attacked and murdered people and new guys in the town events, I've yet to do this at all, so I don't see were you make that comparison. Tell me, how can you beat 4 rear mounted mortars, when the enemy has the same speed cars you do, and has a good amount of ammo for them, with standard settings on bottom armor? And I've said before, they are terrible weapons for "Hunting" your enemy, meaning that they can only be used defensively, meaning that if I try to run, you have no way of killing me. In other words, your strategy relies solely on that the enemy is going to charge right into you, and when he decides not to die that way, you get pissed and calls him a coward. Oh, not to mention, that there is no way to take cover from mortars, so there is no way to get close enough to open fire without getting shelled, and probably breached by the mortars first, not to mention your firetrucks could reach the same speed mine could, meaning that I would not get close enough before going down. By the way, since mortars and RGM's are a weapon in the game, and thereby not cowardly, then clicking the "Escape" button is not cowardly either, as since the weapons, it is a function of the game, thanks goat for clearing that up for us. Again, there is no strategy or tactic that exists to beat mortars aside from "Charge and hope for the best" and "Try to bleed the enemy of ammo", first requires faster cars than the opponent, and what the second requires, well, I tried and got breached before you ran out, and neither was an option for me. You know, you have much more of the sore loser attitude than me, as I don't care the slightest about having to escape from a battle were my enemy uses such cowardly tactics, and when I know that he paid the bounty several times before because he thought he would lose. Your just pissed I ran away, and thereby you gained nothing on the battle Oh, also, on the tankgun vs mortar, you had both on your cars, and both are effective in different situations, the way your cars were setup, the mortars clearly ruled that battle, at least the tankguns require you to get within range of an opponent, mortars does not. Should I have to say it again? You played that one like an amateur. IF you had tried playing this game any other way than the "outgun / outskill the AI" / "PVP transport squads" method you might have gained some actual skills you thought you had those skills.. you were shown to be woefully lacking in imagination. it was probably my favorite bit of the whole thing.. watching a kid who has always claimed to be some sort of genius at the game looking so little and lost... " Damn goat, you would make sense... if not for the fact that I only had 2 cars to, and your cars could go as fast as mine could, meaning I would not catch up to you, I might have been able to catch you in a corner, but there are hills in the way blocking it on that map, so it would not work either. *goat starer* Special Circumstances Darkwind Guru Evan Reds Faction Group: Contributors Posts: 10,907 Joined: Oct 29, 2007 manouvers you dummy... if you keep both your cars in the same place then everything you just wrote comes to pass as a matter of course... you should have been seperating... making it impossible for me to put all 4 mortars on BOTH your cars at once (i was only ever aiming at one and breached both). you should be using angles to make it impossible for me to run away from you. feint.. use up my ammo and get yourself in a position where you are charging one car in against 2 mortars not 4.. then your better tank gunners come into play. its only 30m you had to make up... if you had got further away and charged your speed would have been enougfh to make up those 30 m easily in the time. you played it like a noob and you know you did. your lack of any experience of playing the game against opposition that might beat you was exposed for the world to see. ......................... vet wv zom pvp4 cont community deathrceL1 marshal pvp3 pvp2 Posted Sep 6, 2010, 10:06 am Last edited Sep 6, 2010, 10:07 am by goat starer
