hero points

John Abaddon Eldritch Assassins Racer Mutants Faction Group: Members Posts: 116 Joined: Jun 9, 2010 I have never seen any worthwhile items anywhere other than BL, which is where I do all of my NPC redding (so far I have got 2 Buzzers, 2 TT's, 2 Osprey's and 3 Flail's in the last 3 months...) I haven't scouted further south than there, but I assume it to be similar to BL. I don't think I've ever seen anything there for Hero Points at all. BL's shortages sometimes create HP-only items. Sars and TX seem to be spawning muscle cars, Stormers, Buccys, Eatons, Hotrods are some of the most common, thogh I got an Osp a few days ago. I have not seen any good weapons in Sars/TX for maybe a month or more. Used to be sometimes you could get TG/CC/HCR/HGG there. not sure what the "incident" was, but it appears that the wepaons spawns have changed. In BL, I've seen Buzzers, Osps, Flails, TTs and some of the engines, 5LV8 and 3.2 V8 most common. I have seen some occasional good weapons, but not lately, so that may have been an across the board change. There was a large rare/loot denial program that was instituted a bit back which encompassed several changes and adjustments. You can kill over a 100 bountied bad guys and some guy who whakks 2 but who 'trolls' the shops or uses the (sha right) non-existent shop bots will get everything that shows up. As soon as you get the kills you get the hero points and can check the shop for hero items right away. Each item has a hidden value in hero points, so for EXAMPLE a Hotrod may be worth 5 hero points, but a buzzer may be worth 20 hero points.
