ok, ALDI had cheap a PC for sale. Nothing crash hot but at a bargain Price. Get it home and want to shift over my storage drives. Half its sata ports run to outside the case. This thing has no room inside. I can fit one drive. No wonder it has two SATA ports for external devices. But then I need the bleeding Medion external device case so it can fit the stupid special slot for it. What a fahrk around. {arms flailing around everywhere or AFAE}

Buy a big external drive, dump all the stuff off your old drives onto it, and then put the old drives into the bottom of a draw just in case your external ever dies.

On a side note, I was having an issue with storage but when I had a hard look at what was taking up all the room I realised I didn't need the hundred movies I was never going to watch again - and if I ever did wanna watch them again, I could always just download them again. It was liberating.

Supports 2 hard disks, and its really lovely stuff. Hassle free, just stick your hard disk in (no, I don't mean THAT hard disk), and voila. You have an external drive already. Just uh don't drop it.

The only other problem with the new machine is not being able to run DW in any resolution above native. Previously I had about 5-6 options for res on my old machine, the new machine I have 2. 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768, I was running in much higher than that before.

So you don't have the space to mount an internal drive or don't have the ports to mount an internal drive?

No space (I did already manage to squeeze one in, need the side of the case off so the sata cable fits. Need to get a nice right angle cable.)

Little to nothing on the board; no PCI slots (1 for the graphics card), no IDE, 2 slots for ram. 4 sata ports. One is for eSata, Im guessing, and another for the external docking bay (which I would try disconnect for another internal drive if the case had more room without having to mount brackets.) One for the DVD drive now days too. No IDE is a bit of a bummer. I can't use my old drives, I think, not really computer savy, maybe a connector from IDE to sata ?

Was going to get a new screen a few months back and held off. I will probably get it next week, then I can run both machines and link em on a network and the issue of the space drive issue won't be so much of an issue.

Not sure about this res thing, changed my desktop res and will try the game out in a sec, hopefully the game res will be better. This graphics card (ati radeon HD 6450) seems to have good specs, but only half the options for resolution, and that could well be the limiting factor (which is a mega bitch). Again, new screen will help.

thx for getting back to me folks, something to do at while checking out adam phillips videos at school. This guy did the transdermal celebrations for ween. A friend of one of my teachers apparently. Anyway, I bring it up because his work is really neat. Especially for a one man band. This guy churns out some stuff.

The itx cases are tiny. 4 and 2" thickness. Makes my case look huge. Yes folks, thats cases, Cases!

And cheers Mr Go Go. just a short walk from my joint to the airport (60KM) then a quick flight to Great Britain (18 hours) then ask a pom where Im going (27 hours) end up getting drunk instead (+12 hours) stumble to a cab (45 minutes) cabby takes advantage of my current mental state adding a small amount to my journey to the Maplins store (+ 7 hours and $478) stumble into Maplins finding I am broke, and have a kabab in my pocket.
