If I destroy my reputation with the Deathrace Mafia, will they be able to damage vehicles I enter in events from my own garage, or does that consequence apply only to the stock vehicles they sometimes provide?

I'm pretty sure they can screw with whatever cars they darn well please, including your own (which left me a bit conflicted about my departure from their faction).
