I was wondering what that smell was two summers back., Explains all those flies too

Had one that got zapped on the power lines, huge electrical burns on its face and back... blind as a bat. He lived for a few years, generally scabbed food of us during the day and hid at night. He got attacked by paralysis tics a few times. While outside one day I heard this thump about 50m away, poor thing fell out of a tree (and by the thump, distance... he fell a long way). didn't move for a few hours, and while he was lame I managed to get all the tics off. Little guy lived for another year. Would come up to me while Id work on the car and nibble on my toes, when startled he'd freak out and being blind, could see where he was going and would bounce back and forth off our Boat and everything else in the car port before finally making it away. We called him Blinky. Tics finally got him again, had one in his ear the size, the end of my thumb. Tried to catch him to remove the huge black paralysis tic and the several others he had, but he kept running away and up a tree... never saw him again. Probably fell back out of the tree. This skeleton was not blinking, the smell in my garage was a few years prior. Probably the old male that run the garage mob. Ive got some pics of blinky somewhere, with the huge tic in his ear.  I'll dig them up, he was a cute thing. None of us know what any of it is, or where it came from. I did find my old 8 track though...
