Shame my Pc won't run it using any of the cool features. Lighting blooms and columns are well implemented, FOV and blur effects shift with the action. All old stuff, but used really well here. 1 is a great game, with many cool features and functions. Some of the story line can be a bit silly (Geralts love life is interesting and builds his character background, but is a bit cheesy :/ these parts can be avoided), but over all, gritty and bloodthirsty with an engaging story. Highly recommend it for anyone that has not checked it out and enjoys a good tale of monster hunting and fighting corruption. Enemies are limited but movement is very similar to this trailer. Especially the brutes. Been waiting to play this for some time, but until I get the upgrades, might have to go through the first one again and build my character to import when ready (even that I cannot play with full features and get a better frame rate than 15-20 FPS. 2 I get a frame every 2 seconds :/). Fighting is not as free form as Bethesda games, focus is placed on a single target, and then groups around that target, all you really need worry about is timing, varying moves, and using your signs and devices made (excellent buffs and variation, sharpen swords with different buff results, bombs, traps... the harder fights you need to use all in your tick box when playing on insane and use them wisely). In a big fights, and you get used to changing targets, you can somersault over enemies while attacking, nimbly spiral and twist through a battle slicing off heads with dynamic abandon. 5 big, red stars out of a possible 5½, only obtained by one game, and thats Darkwind ......................... marshal vet wv pvp4 zom cont pvp32,12,1 Posted Jun 18, 2012, 11:23 am Last edited Jun 18, 2012, 11:25 am by *Bastille*

His frazzled up PC, too old to keep kicking, finally gave up the ghost. He ventured to his local ADLI store where it was rumoured a cheap package would save his studies and bring him fortune. Not able to put anything together for twice the price that would suit his needs, and the product information of the package being rat snot at best, the man reluctantly parted with his coin. Opening the box when he got home, he was deeply disappointed on the contents, "what do you mean it has NO PCI slots.. not spare,.. none. Zip! Snafu!". But knew it was all he could get. As he left the plaza, the servant behind the counter snickered under his breath, "Sucka, you got what you paid for". The package suited the fresh-ling student for time until now, until he needed more power. It was only now he realized it had a 350w psu and a motherboard you wouldn't, well, tell your mother about (because really, she'd have no Frazzled Idea anyway). The hopeful purchase of a new card that would save his frustration was now nothing but a pipe dream, with no cooling fan, without more hefty purchase and more savings, the Fresh-ling was doomed. Damn. Unless he salvage old parts. There is yet hope.
