The ability to mark vehicles inactive, so that they don't show up on the vehicles page or in the drop down for selecting vehicles to go into a squad.

Once you get up to a lot of vehicles in a town, most of them are experimental and rarely get used, but sorting through the list trying to find the regular scouting cars gets tough.

I park mine in storage squads, but you run out of squads pretty fast doing that :)

a) It is a hassle, but if I did that, I'd just forget about them.

I have way more cars than I need (or want, really), but then I'll log in and there will be nothing going on except a deathrace for a 2L with a CR limit of 112, and darned if I don't have anything that fits the bill...

b) The tag option is very useful for a shorthand way of finding things. For example, if I see

2; MG RL mrr

I know I've got a two seater with a Machine Gun and Rocket Launcher up front, and a Medium Rocket Rack in back or on the side. So I know my driver better be able to shoot, and I don't need any large gunners.

Now, If I had a second tag line, I could add the CR for combat/scout vehicles, or the range fully loaded for travel/trainers. And that would be handy.

This wouldn't be a problem if there were no pointless squad limits, then you could store cars in squads to make them easier to sort and access

My opinion of suggestions to the game are as valid as anyone else's. Squad limits need changed. No I will not drop it unless it gets changed or I'm given a logical reason they should exist, neither has happened yet. until one does I will point out every circumstance that could benefit from it.

The only reason squad limits exists is cause players requested sam to put in those limits and the reasons those players give are not logical.

Not going through this nonsense again...

It's a dead subject.

As for the ability to give secondary or tertiary tags for vehicles... now that has definiete merit, so longs as it shows on with your vehicles drop down list.

Hell, even making containers would work

Racers in one,

Deathracers another,

Battle rigs, heavies, etc

Juan, as much as I hate talking to you, I  fail to see how having unlimited squad limits would help this situation, anyway. If you have all your SS muscle cars in a squad called "SS musclecars," you'd still have to sort through the squad and remove the one you'd want to use for a given event. That's actually one extra step, so your "argument" is irrelevant here.

And no, your opinion of suggestions to the game are not as valid as anyone else's, especially when they are so clearly irrelevant and just there to push you own agenda. However, your right to express those opinions is equal to anyones else's. Just don't be surprised when you state something that needs to be changed, and we look behind it to see how it benefits you first, then check to see if it's actually a good idea, second.

I like the idea of data containers...

Since everything is in a database anyway, an extra data field for "hidden" (as OP said) should work as well...

I agree it can be a hassle, but one thing I've found is that if you know the name of the vehicle you're looking for you can hit the first letter over and over and it will "jump" to just those in your list.

having a gang of scouts isn't a exploit.

Looking for intentions behind what I suggest is one thng, assuming you can read my mind and think you know what I am talking about is something completely different, it's called assuming. Try asking me instead of assuming.

if you got 85 muscle cars having them sorted to phos morays flails, etc does make it very useful, not irrelevant unless your mind is unclear.

But you don't need individual "squads" to do that.

And besides, having the the ability to field 85 individual cars with 1 ganger in them each, is not exactly good for the game as whole, especially when a person will just use that to cap their scouting abilities far more rapidly than intended.

By doing so, group that goes out, will face far less opposition from opponents, making the game without challenge, and then by association, raking in hordes of money as you again greatly far outnumber your opposition.

Then, once that's done, you then flood the market with ridiculous amounts of wares, captured or purchased rares, scores of unmolested, unchecked lorries of bulk goods, and other goodies without restraint or controls.

In essence, you break the game even farther and farther.

If you would like logic, follow the path lain before you above and see why this is not a good thing.

I am sure those who read this post can follow the yellow brick road to see where it leads.

What thread are you reading, I never said to have 85 cars in a single squad, stop assuming, stop skimming, and actually read what I write without inserting or removing words as you see fit to twist the meaning around.

since when does my 5 vs 13 NPC with a 395 scout equal outnumbering them?

Thats called a free market. Any player can sell whatever he wants for whatever price he wants. If you dont like the competition, buy out their inventory, thats how a free market system works

This sounds like you simply dont like the way I play. As JD Basher stated in the lobby, players are not told how to play, they are welcomed to figure the game out for themselves.

But no You want to point the finger at me and try to reduce my ability to play, meanwhile 4 more fingers point right back at yourself.

restraint or controls?

I thought I read somewhere that Sam's vision for DW was for players to use the resources at hand in whatever way they saw fit.

If I haul a dozen Corgys and a dozen hotrods (well I actually have 14 but im keeping 3) and a dozen stormers to SS... and I want to sell them CHEAP to the new players so they dont have to get donked around like I did trying to get them when I first started... well, I will. I'll make a profit of course, But Market Warfare is what I enjoy. In WoW in a market Goblin. Here I want to be. Once I get the resources gathered I will be. Unless all they arguing makes me tired and I decide not to Re-sub

and lately all the drama is REALLY getting old.

Just do what Juan does, and use multiple accounts. If Sam hasn't done anything about him using Ruv's account after this long he ain't gonna do anything about anyone else doing it.

Use tags to sort vehicles, piece of cake.

is a bizarre one which frankly I find annoying. Why is it for anyone to decide how we play the game? Getting all your guys to max scouting is a natural way of pushing this game due to caps and also the way scout skill is used in determining enemies.

Sure, if you want to travel without a scout that's your issue, and, like I joke with Sere go out with a penknife and return with buzzers and what-have-you. Sweet!

But I don't want to do that (and, yes, almost certainly cannot) and also the cap system is so harsh on new players that the only obvious way I can see to make the game playable for myself is to max out some scouts to find cap limits and also to make travels and scouts more palatable and less deadly.

The idea that this is in some way harmful to the way *I* play the game is laughable as I am playing the game the way I want and without harming anyone else.

If you seriously think this style of play is breaking the game due to markets being undermined then you need to challenge Sam about it. If you think *one person* is managing to undermine the markets then I haven't seen it, and it smacks much more of an attack than the logic that you claim (but obviously Sam needs to know and be shown how it is happening rather than the public bitching that keeps occurring).

RUV and I cleared this with sam first, it wasnt a problem until everyone wants to get in business that has nothign to do with them. sam asked me to stop and I did. Now when i need ruv to help me with something I call him and ask him to jump on and do something for me. I can provide you with his phone number to verify this, but he already told me that he gave it to you. You dont want the truth you just want to start problems.

Now can you try to lead by example and stop trying to hijack this topic?

Yeah Ruv has never given me any phone number, and you're still doing it yourself, you can easily tell by viewing the events. Not to mention that all of your scouts were trained using multiple accounts, while you were using characters from both accounts to scout with.
