Jennifer Ruiz broke the top of her latest bottle of whiskey while contemplating the boss' orders. Since she and the crew had been successful in dragging some Apaches into Gateway, and the home crew in Somerset had been successful in losing them, she'd been ordered to get one of them brought back. As she considered the local crop of drugged out degenerates, it occurred to her that she might put a note up on the notice board. Then it was up to the boss to pay off on the delivery, assuming she could find someone sober enough to realize which way Somerset was from the truck stop.

Notice:

Deliver one Apache from Gateway TS to Bloodguard rep in Somerset within 72 hrs. Pay negotiable depending on guaranteed delivery. Apply to Jennifer Ruiz at the Bloodguard compound to take the contract.

Jennifer scratched her head blearily, and used the remains of her...third? fourth? bottle to try to magnify the letters on the note.

HTI? Hmmm...wasn't that a band that had been playing recently? Yeah, that was it, that old school bluegrass band. Kind of like a dying cat playing fiddle on it's own stretched out intestines, but somedays you gotta take em as they come.
